It's my favorite rum, but it's... challenging. Straight, it tastes pretty much like kerosene with vanilla syrup and liquid smoke added (smoky is an unusual characteristic in rum), at 126 proof - woah! But a little bit added to other rum in a cocktail can really add tremendous complexity and depth. <br /><br />My favorite cocktail I've devised is just 1.5oz Wray & Nephew Overproof and a bottle of Limonata (or half a can), in a pint glass filled with ice. It's the perfect summer drink - cool, complex, refreshing, not too sweet, and a little boozier than usual.
