Not sure if it's worth the price differential.theBitterFignoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462121554175947733.post-5230424816028777162012-10-08T09:47:11.383-07:002012-10-08T09:47:11.383-07:00I mostly use Hardy VS (mid-$20) and Jacques Cardin...I mostly use Hardy VS (mid-$20) and Jacques Cardin VSOP brandy ($12). Both have served me well and I think the only thing that would make me want to get a more expensive brandy for cocktails would be a higher proof product (I really wish we could get Louis Royer Force 53 out here).Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06448702693643593156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462121554175947733.post-3439580524178216982012-10-08T08:44:46.285-07:002012-10-08T08:44:46.285-07:00For mixing, I keep the Salignac VS (OLCC now $22, ...For mixing, I keep the Salignac VS (OLCC now $22, was $18) on hand. Utterly consistent but heavily smoothed. That being said, it's blameless and a predictable go-to that's found all over. I generally prefer more angular, singular selections (Frapin VSOP, G-R...) But they are higher in price.Josh Feldmanhttp://cooperedtot.com/noreply@blogger.com
